Bensalem Baptist Music Ministry

    One true sign of a genuine Christian life is a joyous spirit. Therefore singing and praising becomes an important part of the life that exemplifies the joy found only in Jesus Christ. This is just one of the reasons we want to be a singing church. In addition, we know that praise is the language spoken in heaven and we are practicing now so we're ready to join that great heavenly choir. Our practice consists of enthusiastic congregational singing, a choir that sings every Sunday morning and evening and instrumentalists (Brass, Woodwinds, Strings, Pianos and organ) who accompany our congregational singing and choir specials. Our church has been blessed for over 35 years with opportunities that inspire and minister to each of our hearts. Together we want all of our music to lift up our Savior and give Him all the glory. 

The goal of our musical ministry is threefold:

1. To please, honor, and glorify the Lord by praising Him for all He has done for us.        (Ps.92:1-3)   

2. To meet the needs of our people and prepare their hearts for the message from God's Word. (Ps.106:12) 

3. To express through music the joy that fills our hearts because of His great love and faithfulness to us and thus draw others to His redeeming grace. (Ps.40:3)

Our Senior Choir practices on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm. with special practices for Christmas, Easter and Patriotic Cantatas. Our Junior Choir, 1rst thru 5th grades, practices during the Junior Church program on Sunday mornings.
